The course aims to provide a theoretical and analytical introduction to the grammatical, pragmatic and stylistic tools of textual analysis, and to familiarise students with the linguistic features of various text genres, ranging from advertisements, film and TV series dialogues, newspaper and magazine articles and headlines to web pages and multimedia texts.
